Kitco, a company that sells gold coins and bars, usually has about 10 different forms of one ounce gold coins. Currently it only has Canadian gold coins because the US and other mints are limiting supply. Fortunately Canada is trying to fill as many orders as possible. If you can’t get your hands on real gold, try purchasing GLD shares. Some people say shortages are more prevalent later in the year as the mint ceases production of 2008 coins and gears up for 2009 coins. I guess the Canadians figured out how to produce both coins at the same time. If only their healthcare system was as efficient.
